Warp is a platform for automating software development with AI agents, made up of an open-source terminal, a standalone coding agent, and a fleet-management system called Factories, used by engineering teams that want to hand routine development work to agents while keeping people in control of what merges.
Warp Terminal is a modern terminal built for working alongside AI coding assistants. Factories extend that idea across a team: workflows are defined as code in configuration files, and triggers such as GitHub events, Slack messages, or a schedule start an agent on a task like a code review, a bug fix, or a refactor, with defined approval gates and screenshot or video proof of work required before anything merges. Teams can bring their own underlying model, and Factories can run on Warp's cloud or be self-hosted inside a private network, with integrations into Slack, Linear, Jira, GitHub, and GitLab.
Warp Terminal is free and open source. Factories are billed on usage, charged per agent run, and qualifying organizations receive a starting credit of usage during early access rather than paying a fixed monthly fee.
