Postman is a platform for designing, testing, and managing APIs, used by individual developers and engineering teams at organizations of many sizes that build and maintain services other software depends on.
Within a workspace, a Spec Hub and mock servers support designing an API, an API client and a collection runner support testing it, and a catalog tracks APIs already in use across an organization. Postman also generates client SDKs and documents APIs automatically from a specification. A newer AI Engineer feature takes on building, testing, and maintaining APIs with awareness of the services an organization already runs, and a Postman MCP server lets outside AI agents work with Postman's tools directly.
A free plan covers the core API client, specs, mock servers, collection runner, and a monthly allotment of AI credits. Paid Solo and Team plans, billed per user, raise usage limits and AI credits and add data-driven testing, custom-branded documentation, and role-based access control, and an Enterprise plan adds an organization-wide API catalog, advanced governance, audit logs, and extended support.
