PostHog
Open-source product analytics, replays, flags and more
PostHog is a product analytics and AI platform that helps software teams understand how their product is used and where it can be improved. It serves product and engineering teams at companies of various sizes, from early-stage startups to larger enterprises, and states that more than 500,000 teams are already using it to ship software.
The platform combines core analytics such as funnels and session replay with feature flags, experiments, surveys, and error tracking, plus a context warehouse that pulls in outside data from services such as Google Ads, Stripe, and GitHub alongside product usage. On top of this, AI agents can be asked questions about product performance and will investigate across the connected data sources to surface findings and suggest fixes, rather than requiring a person to build each report by hand.
PostHog offers a free tier with no credit card required to start, and the company states that about 97 percent of its users pay nothing, with paid usage scaling from there as a product grows.
